The Murals

The Group of Seven Outdoor Gallery is a free public art exhibition, featuring 103 recreations of art masterpieces, by Canada's renowned Group of Seven artists and the man who inspired them, Tom Thomson. The Gallery is located in Huntsville, Lake of Bays and Algonquin Provincial Park. The murals are located on the exterior walls of businesses and stores, throughout the area, and can be viewed all year round.

In June 2010, Huntsville played host to the G8 Summit at Deerhurst Resort where world leaders added their brush strokes to Tom Thomson's The West Wind!

This mural recreation can now be found at inside the main lobby at the Canada Summit Centre.
